I work with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and navigating various personal and family transitions. I work well with those wanting to improve self esteem, relationships, and functioning at school or work.
MY APPROACH
I am trained in psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy. I believe that all behavior has meaning and that therapy can help us to understand what our behavior is trying to communicate. I believe that our early relationships and attachments have a profound impact on our later functioning. I believe that lasting change, learning, and growth takes place in the context of safe and supportive relationships and that the therapeutic relationship can be the site where healing takes place. I aim to create an environment that facilitates this healing.
